As well as photography, I also teach film and animation for a living and actually trained in these mediums first. Teaching children for over 13 years means I have the patience of a saint and pretty good negotiation skills.
I am from Southend-on-sea but work all over Essex, London and Kent. I lived in SE London for nearly 15 years and it will always have a piece of my heart, so I'm more than happy to return there as much as possible for work. I moved back to Southend with my husband at the end of 2022 before the arrival of our little girl.
We have a cat called Barley, who is EITHER a soppy lap cat OR an absolute tyrant depending on the time of day. We also accidentally stole our neighbours cat when we moved house and I ended up on BBC Essex. Ask me about it, it's a bit of a long one...
(UPDATE: my friend has suggested that I include the fact we returned the cat unharmed - if anything in better shape for it)
